Digital Bi-Funk, is a photo-shoot in which I constructed a royal blue utility jumpsuit, styled with; white corded headphones, pig-tails, a red lip, fishnets and platform boots. Digital Bi-Funk was directed with the intention of creating a persona for sound. ‘Sound’ is re-formed into a funky bi-sexual girl in her final years of college and is given the name Digital Bi-Funk. She’s unbothered, strange, complex, fashion forward, comfortable with her sexuality, and a bit of a dude. Digital Bi-Funk has a direct correlation to my sound art and the soundscapes; Ear-worm and Source the Mother of Material Ecology in which both had the same evaluations; that there is a strange, and rather odd feeling to them.
